To bring more revenue and user loyalty, Branded Online Ordering Pro is an upgrade to online ordering which offers the ability for a restaurant owner to build their own online ordering experience by customizing the brand color, fonts, etc.

White label app is a new beta product from the Digital Storefront Suite that allows Toast customers to launch their own branded online ordering apps.
*A white label app is a generic application built by a company to resell it to another business that, in turn, can rebrand it as their own. This helps businesses have their own app with the least possible investment. White-labeling allows you to maintain your brand identity across client-facing applications.

Lead Product Design & Product Management

l led the design team and immediately embarked on building this product. After 2.5 months of dedicated work, we successfully launched the first white-label app with Fukuryu Ramen. Dozens of customers are eagerly anticipating this capability to transition their digital ordering back to Toast from a partner solution, keen on streamlining their tech stacks.

After launching Online Ordering Pro, we received numerous requests to leverage the online ordering experience into a consumer-branded app.

Around the world in 2024, over  27,294 companies have started using Toast as pos-system tool,  23.9% 
of Toast customers are using Online Ordering.
The Online Ordering Pro, as the core product within the Digital Storefront suite, exhibited suboptimal
performance from Q1 through Q2, primarily attributable to inherent product limitations.After Q2, we leveraged the online ordering experience and launched a consumer-branded app (white label app) resulting in significant momentum. We've garnered  600 + Subscriptions within 5 months, with the subscription rate increasing from $79 to $99.

Fukuryu Ramen is a 4-location customer in the Columbus, OH area and they've already processed 50+ orders through the app in just a few days.

Fukuryu Ramen went live just 10 days after the initial demo call. Much of the setup work was automated, integrated with branding and customization inputs from Online Ordering Pro.
